Dr. Damon Vaghn, pastor of Airline Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was held at Hill Crest Cemetery. Mrs. Cox died Saturday, June 20, at Bossier Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Marthaville, La., and had been a resident of Bossier City, La. since 1929. Mrs. Cox was also a member of Airline Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer T. Cox Sr.; a son, Homer T. Cox Jr.; and a brother, Ernest Bell. Mrs. Cox is survived by one son, Thomas M. Cox and wife Elaine of Bale City, Va.; one daughter, Suzanne Williams and husband Robert H. of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Estal Mae Mims of Bossier City, La., and Mrs. Johnnie Cutrer of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Albert Bell, and Jack Bell, both of Robeline, La.; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
