  Robert James Cox

  Mr. Robert James Cox, 75, of Florien, died at Byrd Memorial
Hospital in Leesville on Friday, August 26, 1988.

  Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Toro
Community on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. with Rev. F. M. Belsha
officiating. Burial was the church cemetery under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Freda Cox of Florien; one son;
Bob Wayne Cox of Iowa, La.; two brothers, Alvin Cox and Melvin
Cox, both of Corona, Calif.; one sister, Lillian Emerick, also of
Corona, Calif.; two grandsons, Corky and Willie Cox of Iowa, La.;
numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
