J. D. Cox

  Services for Mr. J. D. Cox, 68, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday,
June 2, 1993, in Warren Meadows Chapel. Officiating was Rev. John
Alley, and Rev. Mack Brister. Burial was held in Florien
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Cox died Monday, May 31, 1993, in Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Mildred Cox of Florien; one son and
daughter-in-law, Tommy and Shirley Cox of Florien; one daughter,
Kimberly Ann Cox of Many; mother Myrtle Cox of Nederland, Tex.;
one sister, Dorothy Bales of Nederland, Tex.; one grandson, Joey
Lance Cox.

  He is preceded in death by a son, Dr. Larry Cox.

  Pallbearers were LaWayne Horton, Norman Herrington, Robby Lang,
Charles "Buddy" Wood, Charles Arthur, and Glen Edward Dowden.

  Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Hildebrand, Raymond Hamilton,
Ronnie Lewing, and Glen Ray Dowden.
