Charles Duncan officiating. Assisting were Rev. Don Hagar. Burial followed in Coldwater Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel of Mansfield. Mrs. Cook died Saturday, June 19, 1993, in Many, following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill. She taught in the Sabine Parish Schools, a member of the Spring Ridge Baptist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #13 in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kirby S. Blankenship; and one son, Gary Lynn Cook. Mrs. Cook is survived by one daughter, Donna Sue Cook of Lafayette; one sister, Norma Jean Brown of Shreveport; and one granddaughter, Veronica Cook of Bossier City.
