All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Donald Ray Case Funeral services for Mr. Donald Ray Case, 63, of Many, were held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 1, 1997, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Steve Speer. Interment was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mr. Case passed away at Sabine Medical Center, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1997. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean and Viet Nam War. Donald was born in Brooksville, Ky., on May 21, 1933, to Louie and Maggie Myers Case. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Case Meshell (husband Joe) of Zwolle; three stepsons, David Case (wife Kathy) of Baltimore, Md., Dan Haigh (wife Karen) of Many, and Jeff Eugene Maurman of Florence, Ore.; four sisters, Virginia DeWitt, and Violet Case of Augusta, Ky., Melody Reed of Brooksville, Ky.; three brothers, Robert L. Case of Dawson Springs, Ky., Earnest Case, and Danny Carl Case of George Town, Ky.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers and military graveside services were conducted by an honor guard from Fort Polk.
