Luther Cox

  Luther Cox, 68, of Many, died in Many, Feb. 5, after a brief
illness. Funeral services were conducted Feb. 7, at Noble United
Pentecost Church, with the Rev. Walker Ledford officiating.
Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Marie
Altum of Texas; a brother, Hunter Cox of Shreveport; two sisters,
Mrs. Mattie Moore of Converse, and Mrs. Woodrow Stockton of
Rayville; and three grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Gaylen Stockton, Amos Britton, David King, R.
H. Jacobs, Clifton Tyler, and Clyde Tyler.
