Jesse J. Cox

  Jesse J. Cox, 86, died after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 20, at the
Springridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Foster Jennings, the
Rev. Cecil Salley, and the Rev. Ruth Dickerson officiating.
Interment was in the Springridge cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include four sons, Dewey, Homer, and Larry Cox, all of
Pleasant Hill, and Marshall Cox of Grand Isle; two daughters,
Mrs. Allie Moffett, and Mrs. Mollie Moody, both of Pleasant Hill;
a brother, Henry Cox of Belmont, Miss.; one half sister, Becky
Montgomery of Mississippi; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great
grandchildren.
