Mr. Cox was a retired school teacher. Services were held Monday, March 18, at the Noble United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Jerry Green, and the Rev. D. R. Bolton officiating. Interment was in the Noble Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors include one son, Ray Cox of Corpus Christi, Tex.; three brothers, George R. Cox of Bossier City, Reese Cox of Shreveport, and R. S. Cox of Doyline; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Bob Williams of Shreveport, and Mrs. A. O. Cartwright of Beaumont, Tex.; one grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews.
