She would have been 83 Tuesday. A native of Sabine Parish, she was a retired lunch room worker for Boyce High School. Survivors include one son, James Marvin Cassady of Gladewater, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Guent of Liberty, Tex., Mrs. Elouise Fuller of Pineville, Mrs. Opal Moore of Marthaville, and Mrs. Bessie Mae Parker of Gretna; two brothers, Hoyt Law of Kilgore, Tex., and Sherwood Law of Coushatta; two half brothers, J. B. Law of El Dorado, Ark., and J. W. Law of Florien, five half sisters, Mrs. Lillis Smith of Fisher, Mrs. Faye Wright of Shreveport, Mrs. Reba Oxley of Lake Charles, Mrs. Heflin Wallace of Bentley, and Mrs. Zarah Hayes of Florien, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, in the Parkview Baptist Church, with Rev. Glen Pippens, and Rev. Huey Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Central Cemetery near Many, at 4 p.m., under direction of Hixson Bros.
