Castie Funeral services were held Saturday for Thomas Jefferson Castie, 50, of Shreveport, a truckdriver for a local tree service who was found dead Wednesday in his wrecked truck off I-20. Mr. Castie apparently suffered a heart attack and died before the accident, Officer J. M. Burns said. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Baptist Church of Zwolle and burial will be in Zwolle City Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. A native of Zwolle, Mr. Castie had resided in Shreveport for one year. Survivors include his widow; five sons, James A. Castie, Charley Castie and Jackie Castie, all of Shreveport, Jerry Castie of Zwolle and Jimmy Castie of Okinawa; one stepson, Glen Parrie of Virginia; two brothers, Earnest Castie of Shreveport and Mack Castie of Beaumont, Tex.; four sisters, Thelma Martin of Zwolle, Martha Murphy of Negreet, Sybil Graham and Leona Young, both of Shreveport; and five grandchildren.
