Mr. Ellis E. Castleberry

  Mr. Ellis E. Castleberry, 85, died Saturday, Oct. 31, at Sabine
Medical Center in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at Beulah
Baptist Church, with interment following at Beulah Cemetery. The
Rev. Kenneth Leach, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, officiated,
and the Rev. Vernon Stephenson, pastor of Belmont Union Baptist
Church, assisted.

  Mr. Castleberry retired from the Armco Steel Corporation, as a
crane operator.

  Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Elaine
Castleberry of Many; one son, Robert Earl Castleberry and wife
Kathleen of Deer Park, Texas; three daughters, Joyce Marie
Goforth and husband William of Houston, Texas, Maryan Ruth
Brattlof and husband Warren of Temple, Texas, and Sue Carol
McLeod and husband Anthony of Houston, Texas; one sister, Marie
Lloyd of Houston, Texas; one brother, Ford Castleberry and wife
Jimmie of Pine Bluff, Ark.; seven grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephews.

  Pallbearers were Paul Brattlof, John Brattlof, Randy
Castleberry, Russell Goforth, Brice McLeod, and Michael Frank.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Beulah Baptist.
