The Sabine Index - Jennie Cassell 
  
  26 May 1939 - Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for 
Mrs. Jennie Cassell, age 86 years, who died Saturday morning 
after a short illness. Interment was in the San Patricio cemetery 
with rev. Platt of Noble and Rev. Straylter of Mansfield 
conducting the rites. 
  
  Mrs. Cassel is survived by a son, Perry Cassel of San Patricio, 
and two daughters, Mrs. G. W. Pugh of Noble, and Mrs. Effie 
Hathorne of San Patricio, with whom she was making her home; 18 
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 
  
  Pallbearers were: R. C. Pugh, Mr. Thomas, Hugh McDonald, J. T. 
Cassel, Dr. Emit Ray, Bernard Pugh, Tommy Cassel, W. T. Boyd.
