He was 93 years old. He was born Nov. 19, 1899, to Burton E. and J. Gertrude (Epier) Casselman in Douglas, Nebraska. He was a rancher in the Mosca area, and a Mason for 73 years. He was also a Shriner, and Scottish Rite for 71 years, and an Eastern Star member for 50 years. He was the secretary/treasurer for the Mosca-Hooper Soil Conservation District, and the secretary for the Prairie Ditch Co. for 27 years. He was also a member of the Vulcan Lodge 103 for 30 years, and the secretary for the Mosca School District for 15 years. He is survived by one daughter, Patricia L. Wilson of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Frank D. Casselman of Oregon; one sister, Ruth G. Towle of Lincoln, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one daughter. Services were held Tuesday, April 13, at 10 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Alamosa. Burial was held in the San Louis Valley Cemetery.
