(Buster) Chism, 69, of Florien, were held Monday, Oct. 7, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were Rev. Ted Cabra, and Rev. Jimmy McDonald. Interment was at Toro Cemetery. Military graveside services were conducted by the Sabine Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Chism passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Chism of Florien; two daughters, Clara Chism and husband Rev. Benny Crittenden of Belmont, and Betty Jones and husband Mike of Fisher; one son, Charles Chism and wife Glenda of Florien; three sisters, Louvinia Salter, Rosa Sandel, and Willie Mae Ford, all of Florien; one brother, Lester Chism of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and close personal friends. Pallbearers will be Life Care Ambulance Employees, and friends of the family.
