The Sabine Index - Bonnie Johnson Chessher

  July 26, 1973

  Mrs. Bonnie Johnson Chessher, 56, died July 22 in New Orleans
following a prolonged illness.

  A wake was held Monday, July 23 in the Mothe Funeral Home of
Harvey with the funeral services held the next day at 9 a.m. in
the Christian Baptist Church in Houma. The body was flown to
Searcy, Ark. for burial with a graveside service.

  Mrs. Chessher was a proprietor of Chess' 3 B Resort in Zwolle.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. F. B. Fuller
of Houma; three grandchildren; two sisters of New Orleans and one
brother from Beaumont.
