The Sabine Index - Ira Cochran

  6 May 1949 - Funeral services for Ira Cochran, 55, who died
at Fraser sanitarium Saturday after a brief illness, were held
Monday from Anthony Baptist church near Marthaville with Jimmy
Heffin, Louisiana college student minister, officiating.

  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Rivers Cochran, a son, Ira,
Jr., and two daughters, Imogene and Gay Lynn, all of Marthaville;
two brothers, Sam Cochran of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; a sister, Mrs.
Lodie McGlothin, Tyler, Texas.

  Interment was in Marthaville cemetery under direction
of a Natchitoches funeral home.
