Mrs. Eva Cockran

  Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Cockran, age ?5, who died Jan. 10,
were conducted at Hornbeck Assembly of God Church, at 2 p.m.,
Tuesday, Jan. 13, with Rev. W. L. Mora Jr., Rev. O. M. Greer,
Rev. J. O. DeWitt, and Rev. Peasley officiating. Interment was in
Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are daughters, Mrs. Edna Morris of Hemphill, Mrs.
Verna Merritt of Anacoco, Mrs. Neva McComic of Many, Mrs. Sybil
Huffman, Mrs. Ruth Manuel, Mrs. Alice Edwards, all of Lake
Charles, Mrs. Lamoine Greer of Shreveport; sons, T. H. of
Shreveport, Herbert of Highland, Calif., and Phillip of LaHambra,
Calif.; 23 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were J. L. Manual, Ivy Morris, C. C. Merritt, Jesse
Edwards, W. H. McCormick, and Nelson Merritt.

  Honorary pallbearers were George Huffman, and Buddy McCormick.
