Robert Lee Cade departed this life. Services were held Jan. 7, at 2 p.m., at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with Rev. L. C. Williams officiating. Jenkins Funeral Home was in charge. He leaves to mourn his passing, three brothers, Ivory Cade of Many, Peyton Johnson of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Alfred Lee Johnson; three sisters, Mattie Thomas, and Faye Kennedy of Many, and Coitia Monroe of Shreveport; one aunt; one uncle; nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters. Bro. Cade was born to the late Billy Cade and Sarah Harris Johnson, Sept. 15, 1937, in the Red Land Community. The family later moved to Many. He united with the New Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age. Pallbearers were Payton Lee Johnson, Alfred Lee Johnson, Ivory Joe Cade, Richard Lee Woods, Dennis Cade, Russell Cade, and Larry Cade. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
