Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 8, at the Beulah Methodist Church in Marthaville, with the Rev. Guy Middleton, and the Rev. Nichols officiating. Interment was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Eastern Star services were conducted at the graveside. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alice Crump of Robeline; three sons, Fred Chitty of Mt. Belvieu, Tex., Rodger Chitty of Freer, Tex., and Bill Chitty of Kilgore, Tex.; three half sisters, Mrs. Ray Miles, Mrs. Ola Roberts, and Mrs. Lee LaBure, all of Alexandria; one brother, Tom Duplissey of Robeline; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
