All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Jewel Hunt Chaddick Services for Mrs. Jewel Hunt Chaddick, 85, were held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m., at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder. Officiating was Rev. Dennis LaFleur, and Rev. Jerry Wayne Chaddick. Interment followed in Hinson Cemetery in Knight, Louisiana. Mrs. Chaddick died Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. She was a lifelong resident of Rosepine. Mrs. Chaddick was a member of Ollieville Baptist Church, where she served as church treasurer for a number of years. She is survived by two sons, Edward Dale Chaddick and wife Betty of Sulphur, and John D. Chaddick and wife JoAnn of DeRidder; four daughters, Darlyne Midkiff and husband Hubert of Lake Charles, Sybil Newton and husband W. E. "Bill" of Tallahassee, Florida, Fern Miller and husband L. L. "Buck" of Baton Rouge, and Glenda Stewart of Cottonwood, Louisiana; one brother, Austin Hunt of Rosepine; three sisters, Nannie Wiggins, and Ima Thompson, both of Rosepine, and Ola Braheme of Salinas, California; eighteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Chaddick is preceded in death by her husband, Tillman H. Chaddick.
