All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Chuck Cotton Funeral services for Chuck Cotton, 35, were held at 10 a.m., October 28, at the Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, Tex., and graveside services were held at 2 p.m., October 28, at Fort Jesup Cemetery in Many. Rev. Dennis Woods, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church of Orange, Tex., officiated. Interment was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home of Orange, Tex. Mr. Cotton was a native of Orange, Tex., and a lifelong resident of Bridge City, Tex. He was a former operator with BF Goodrich in Port Neches, and was the manager for the Texas Longhorn Club in Vinton, La., and was also a promoter in the music industry. Mr. Cotton passed away on October 26, 1994, on Hwy. 87, on the Veterans Memorial Bridge, Port Arthur, Tex. Survivors are his widow, Bettye Cotton of Orange, Tex.; parents, Ray Cotton of Vinton, and Dorothy Cotton of Bridge City, Tex.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Leach of Many; one son, Trey Cotton of Bridge City, Tex.; and two sisters, Sandra Bernhard of Brenham, Tex., and Tina Schlesinger of Orange, Tex. Pallbearers were Richard Hinds, Randy Joe Leach, Robert Smith, Mike Garza, Andrew Marshall, and Ben Bernhard.
