All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Jewel Glynn Cottrell Services were conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road, for Mr. Jewell Glynn Cottrell, 56, of Shreveport, at 2 p.m., Friday, August 14. The Rev. Douglas Cain, pastor of Lakeview United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, La. Mr. Cottrell entered into rest Wednesday, August 12, 1987, at the V. A. Medical Center, after a long illness. He was a native of El Dorado, Ark., and had lived in Shreveport for 16 years. Mr. Cottrell was a member of Caddo Heights United Methodist Church, the American Legion, and the West Shreveport Association. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Rae Ross Cottrell of Shreveport; four children, Barbara Felsher of Shreveport, Kenneth Wayne Cottrell of Haughton, Pamela Anderson of Shreveport, and Kenneth Ray Brown of Baton Rouge, La.; 11 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
