Beverly Cothran

  A Houston, Tex. woman, Beverly Cothran, 42, was killed Saturday,
July 10, in an accident at 12:10 a.m., on Hwy. 473, west of
Anacoco, but in Sabine Parish.

  She was a passenger in a car driven by James L. Carr, also of
Houston.

  According to the State Police in Leesville, the car was
traveling North, and left the road on the left side, traveling 45
feet, and hitting a sign. It then traveled more than 200 feet,
turning over three times before coming to rest on its top.

  The dead woman was trapped in the vehicle over an hour.

  Carr was charged with driving left of center.
