He was a native of Robeline. He had resided in southwest Louisiana for 65 years. An oilfield worker after graduating from high school, he entered law school in 1944, and received his degree in 1947. He practiced law in Lake Charles, with former Lieutenant Governor Bill Dodd, and served as City Attorney for Lake Charles. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillieon Cutrer; a son, Dr. Kent Cutrer; and three grandchildren, all of Lake Charles. Services were held Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Lake Charles First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Henry Bowdon officiating. Burial, under direction of Hixson Funeral Home, was in Graceland Cemetery.
