Jessie S. Cole

  Services for Mr. Jessie S. Cole, 86, of Shreveport, were held at
1 p.m., Friday, July 4, at the Springridge Baptist Church. The
Rev. Foster Jennings, pastor of Bethel Methodist church in
Pleasant Hill, officiated. Burial was at Springridge Cemetery in
Pleasant Hill, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside
Chapel.

  Mr. Cole, a retired farmer, died at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, July
2, 1986, at Virginia Hall Nursing Home, after a long illness. He
was born in Mississippi, and was a former resident of Pleasant
Hill. He had lived in Shreveport for 32 years.

  He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. H. J. Johnson of Shreveport,
and Mrs. A. D. Johnson of Pleasant Hill; a nephew and his wife,
Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Waddle of Shreveport.

  Pallbearers were nephews and great nephews.
