Mrs. Qula B. Cole

  Services for Mrs. Qula B. Cole, 73 of Florien, were held at 2
p.m., Saturday, June 28, 1986, at the Bright Star Baptist Church
of Florien, where she was a member. Dr. D. A. Jones of
Shreveport, officiated. Burial was in Negreet Cemetery, with
Jenkins Funeral Home in charge.

  Mrs. Qula B. Cole died June 21, 1986, in the John Sealy Hospital
in Galveston, Tex.

  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Hoy Cole; one son, Bill Cole
of Florien; one daughter, Pearlie B. Childress of Santa Rosa,
Calif.; two sisters, Prenell Adams of Florien, and Brenda K. Nash
of Lufkin, Tex.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a
host of relatives and friends.
