Cole, 52, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, at the Wellman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. C. W. Holeyfield officiated. Interment was at Mount Zion Baptist Cemetery in Fairview-Alpha, La. Mr. Cole died Sunday, May 10, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Shreveport, had lived in Princeton for 27 years, and was a truck driver for Red Ball Motor Freight. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Cole of Princeton, La.; two sons, Mike E. Cole and his wife Sandra of Cartersville, Ga., Gene Cole and his wife Lisa Cobbs Cole of Princeton, La.; three grandchildren; four brothers, Gene Cole of Haughton, La., Jerry Cole of Negreet, La., Bob Cole of Tatum, Texas; three sisters, Francis Meyers of Haughton, Sue Williams of Natchitoches, and Dora Huitt of Lake Charles; and a number of nieces and nephews.
