Mrs. Betty Jo Salter Cole

  Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Salter Cole of Elderville,
Texas, were held at the Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel in
Henderson, Texas, at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 12, 2001. Mrs.
Cole passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 9, She was 57
years old.

  Mrs. Cole was born on August 29, 1943, to Glassell and Vera Fay
Martin, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death
by her sister, Linda Kelley.

  Survivors include her husband, Sam Cole of Elderville, Texas;
one son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jennifer Salter of Many; one
stepson and daughter-in-law, Adrian and Cody Sanderlin of
Pearland, Texas; two step daughters, Samantha Cole of Longview,
Texas, and Shena Riley of Church Hill, Texas; two sisters, Joyce
Griffin, and Ruth Jimmerson of Longview, Texas; one brother,
James Robert Martin of Longview, Texas; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Danny Smith, Steve Proctor, Harold Heath, Bobby
Fleming, Dale Selman, and Marion Smith.

  Services were under the direction of Crawford A. Crim Funeral
Home in Henderson, Texas.
