Cole of Baker, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Springridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Don Hagar officiating. Burial will follow in the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Cole passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, at his residence in Baker. Mr. Cole was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a retired Exxon Refinery employee, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Baker. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Murray Cole of Baker; two daughters, Joyce Cole Cascarela of Slaughter, and Janice Cole Stiles of Baker; one brother, Tom Cole of Coushatta; four grandchildren, Ramona "Peanut" Wallace of Slaughter, Brenda Medlin of Bossier City, Jace Mascarella of Slaughter, and Noel Stiles of Baker; eight great grandchildren.
