John B. Cooley

  Funeral services were held for John B. Cooley, age 86, Tuesday,
Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, DeRidder.
Although a resident of DeRidder, Mr. Cooley had made his home in
Anacoco with his daughter, Mrs. Leona Shadwin, for the past few
years. Mr. Cooley spent much of his earlier life in Sabine Parish
near Belmont, and has many friends and relatives there.

  He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leona Shadwin of Anacoco,
and Mrs. Annie Lee Gauldin of Lake Charles; and one son, J. B.
Cooley Jr. of DeRidder.
