Culpepper, 63, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 7, at Edmond's Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Bill M. Moore, and the Rev. J. W. Kennedy officiated. Burial was in the Edmond Gavia Traina Cemetery, under the direction of Edmond Funeral Home of Jonesboro. He died Sunday, Feb. 6, 1983, at Jackson Parish Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Culpepper of Jonesboro; two sons, Donnie Culpepper of Los Vegas, Nevada, and Wayne Culpepper of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Freda Henderson of Shreveport, and Mrs. Yvonne False of Thibodeaux; two brothers, Clarence Culpepper of Jonesboro, and Homer Culpepper of Zwolle; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Woods of Jonesboro, Mrs. Willie Maude Smith of DeRidder, and Mrs. Imogene Hall of Fopchoppy, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
