All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Kenneth Lee (Skeezix) Clevenger Funeral services for Kenneth Lee Clevenger, 71, were held Wednesday, May 8, 1996, at 1:30 p.m., at the Gowing Chapel, with the Rev. Hollis Lawson, formerly of Many, now of Springfield, Mo., officiating. Interment was at Union Cemetery. Mr. Clevenger passed away Saturday, May 4th, 1996, after a lengthy illness, at the North Sabine Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill. He had lived most of his lifetime in Orrick, moving to Many in 1988. Skeezix had worked in Kansas City for Air Tec, and Air Control Co., retiring in 1986. He was a graduate of Orrick High School He also worked several years in a local heating and cooling business. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. Kenneth was married to June Shunk of Proctor, Minn., on July 20, 1946. She survives at home in Many. To this union was born one son, Eddie Lee Clevenger, who with his wife Mary Ann (Robinson) Clevenger, survive in Many. He is also survived by one grandson, Robert Zackary Cayman Clevenger of Many. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace C. Richardson on July 18, 1986; and his stepfather, Ed Richardson, on September 1, 1976. Musical selections were given by the Rev. Brian Pendleton, soloist, and Mary Frances Arnold, organist. Pallbearers were Melvin Richardson, Arch King, Mike King, Bob Conroy, Wilbur Rimmer, and Jerry Perry.
