Funeral services were held Friday, March 1, at 10 a.m., in First Baptist church of Greenwood, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Masonic graveside rites were held Friday, at 3 p.m., in Fort Jesup Cemetery in Many, with Rev. George Carkeet of Greenwood, and Rev. D. Wesley Ates of Texarkana, Ark. officiating. Mr. Colston was born on Dec. 20, 1910, in Vowells Mill, and was an employee of Waskom, Tex. Natural Gas Co. for 15 years. Until his retirement two years ago, he was owner and manager of Colston's Fina Station of Bethany, Tex. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Colston; two sons, Leon Colston, and Willard Colston, both of Mesquite, Tex.; two daughters, Ruth Rials of Greenwood, and Pearlie Walker of Texarkana, Ark.; a brother, Claude.
