Survivors include one son, Willie Colston of Abbeville; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Deason of Many, Mrs. Geneva Freeman of Kenner, and Mrs. Lodis Carnline of Shreveport; one brother, John Cryer of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Laura McWilliams of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Fort Jesup Baptist Church on Thursday, June 8, at 2 p.m. Officiating was the Rev. Arthur Haymon. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers, all of her grandsons, were Glenn Freeman, C. W. Freeman, Norman Freeman, Buddy Horn, Rayford Freeman, and Gee Angelette.
