J. C. Colston

  J. C. Colston, 59, of Bossier City, died Tuesday, May 2, at 6:35
p.m., in the VA Hospital in Shreveport, following an extended
illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Bill Burrow
officiating. Burial followed in the Fort Jesup Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Bud Ebarb, Jay Bee Rials, S. P. Leone, James
Rials, Willard Colston, and Jerry Taylor.

  Survivors include his widow, Joan Colston of Bossier City; three
daughters, Lisia Colston, and Annie Colston, both of Bossier
City, and Joan Derrick of Gilbert, S. C.; four sons, Charles
Colston, and Jessie Colston, both of Bossier City, and J. C.
Colston Jr., and Floyd Colston, both of Gilbert, S. C.; one
sister, Delia Clark of Robeline; and 11 grandchildren.
