  Ella Louise Colston - June 9, 1988

  Mrs. Ella Louise Colston, 81, died at Willis Knighton Medical
Center in Shreveport on Thursday, June 2, 1988.

  She was a resident of Greenwood for 40 yrs., a member of the
First Baptist Church of Greenwood, Senior Citizen Club, Greenwood
Pioneer Club and O. E. S. Chapter 202 for 60 years.

  Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Greenwood on
June 5, 1988 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Bob Alexander and Rev.
Gerald Trussell officiating. Burial was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery
near Many under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include two sons, Willard Colston of Dallas, Tx., Leon
Colston of Beaumont, Tx.; two daughters, Ruthie Rials of
Greenwood, Pearlie Walter of Texarkana, Ark.; two brothers, Joe
H. Beesons of Slidell, La. and J. C. Beeson of Many; two sisters,
Louisa Remedies of New Orleans and Edna Bell of Hornbeck; 10
grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and
nephews and a host of friends.
