Howard DeWitt Colston

  Howard DeWitt Colston, 85, of Many died Sept. 30, at Sabine
Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Oct. 1, at Fort Jesup
First Baptist Church, with interment following at Ft. Jesup
Cemetery. The Revs. Arthur Haymon, Glen Flannagan, and H. H.
Tibbetts officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Audrey Colston of Ft. Jesup; two
sons, Dewayne Colston and wife Velva of Ft. Jesup, and Kenneth
Colston and wife Barbara of Many; sister, Doris Russell of Many;
four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Blake Taylor, Marty Colston, Darrell Speight,
Jarrod Leach, Brian Davis, Alan Colston, Jimmie Colston, and Mike
Lyddy.

  Honorary pallbearers were Tim Lyddy, Herbert Leach, Raymond
Leach, Gaylon Taylor, Willie Bell, Jimmie Colston, and Jimmy
Gates.
