Syble Marie Castie Childs (Photo)

  Funeral services for Syble Marie Castie Childs, 65, were held at
3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

  Father David Richter officiated. Burial was in Aimwell Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Childs died on Nov. 29, at the Sabine Medical Center.

  Visitation was held at the Zwolle Funeral Home, beginning on
Thursday, Nov. 30.

  Survivors are her sister, Velma Martin of Shreveport; her
children, Paul Sanchez and wife Rae of Bossier City, Luther
Sanchez and friend, Judy of Shreveport, Joyce Walker and husband
Mike of Stonewall, Helen Meshell and husband Leroy, and John
Sanchez and wife Nancy, all of Zwolle, and Susan Prewitt and
husband, Douglas of Baton Rouge; 31 grandchildren, Diedra, Ian,
Dan Joey, Samuel, Leslie, Melanie, Shonda, Shannon, Lisa,
Shaunette, Troy, Annette, Michael, Westley, Amanda, Ashley, Tom,
Emily, Timmy, Jonathan, Joshua, Kim, Becky, Chris, Kevin,
Johnathan, Johnny, Jeannie, Tracey, and Stephanie; 16 great
grandchildren, Jessica, Tommy Lee, Jacob, Jessica, Justin, Sean,
Evan, Gaylon, Dewayne, Candace, Tyler, Zachery, Jessica, Joshua,
Jewel, and Bentley; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Mrs. Childs was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Castie;
daughter, Kathy Sanchez; loyal friend, Jay Crable; several
brothers and sisters.
