Robert C. Caldwell

  Robert Conley Caldwell, 69, of Dallas, Tex., formerly of Many,
died in Baylor Hospital in Houston, Tex., Friday, March 21.

  Survivors include his widow, Iva H. Caldwell of Dallas, Tex,;
two daughters, Mrs. Harold D. Matthews of Natchitoches, and Mrs.
David Sloan of Garland, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Crow of
Houston, Tex., Mrs. Aline Bush of Many, Mrs. Margaret Bush of
Cleveland, Tex., and Mrs. Jewel Webb of Tequesta, Fla.; one
brother, Freddie Caldwell of Arlington, Tex.; and five
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, March 23, at 2 p.m., in the
Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. H. Tibbitts,
and Rev. Preston Tibbitts officiating. Burial followed in the Ft.
Jesup Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Hardy F. Long, Don M. Jackson, Charles Richey,
James C. Hardin, Thomas R. Hardin, and Dwaymon Ferguson.
