Caldwell Funeral services were held Sunday, April 25, for E. B. Caldwell, 84, who died Friday, April 23, after an extended illness. The Rev. Gerald Martin officiated at the services, which were held at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Interment was at Caldwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Clyde Caldwell, Eugene Caldwell, O. S. Caldwell, and Speight Caldwell. Surviving are his two sons, E. M. Caldwell of Port Arthur, Texas, and Ira E. Caldwell of Patterson; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Ballard, and Mrs. Annie Pollard of Bridge City, Texas, Mrs. Florence Williams of Houston, and Mrs. Joy Dickerson of Pomona, Calif.; three brothers, W. C., and J. W. Caldwell of Many, and R. R. Caldwell of Houston; sixteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
