The Rev. Clint Davis officiated. Burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston. Mr. Colton died Monday, November 18, 1985, at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, after a brief illness. He was a native of Converse, La., and had lived in Ruston for many years. Mr. Colton was a carpenter with Triad builders in Ruston, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vienna, La., and the Ruston Loyal Order of the Moose. He is survived by his wife, Margie P. Colton of Ruston; one daughter, Deborah C. Hatch of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Marlin L. Colton of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Vivian Craig of Converse, la.; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Magliolo, Jerry Rogers, James McGivney, H. J. Lowrey, Jackie White, James White. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Ruston Loyal Order of the Moose, and fellow workers at Triad Builders.
