Mr. Daniel Wayne Childress

  Services for Mr. Daniel Wayne Childress, 68, of Converse, La.,
were held at 3:30 p.m., July 20, at St. Ann's Catholic Church.

  Father Kenneth Williams officiated. Burial was in St. Ann's
Cemetery, Ebarb, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Childress passed away at North Sabine Nursing Home, on July
18.

  Survivors are his wife, Eileen M. Childress of Converse, La.;
three children, Rita Remedies, and Erma Lee Watson of Converse,
La., and Rose "Ruthie" Valentine of Zwolle, La.; one stepson,
Jimmy Earl Ferguson of Converse, La.; one stepdaughter, Mary
Louise Cavalier of New Orleans, La.; one sister, Virginia
Childress of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Joseph Childress of
Mansfield, La., M. B. Childress of Shreveport, La.; one half
brother, James Rayborn of Mansfield, La.; fourteen great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Chad Carmadale, Irvin Parrie Jr., John Picaid,
Carl Cavalier III, Clinton Cavalier, and Gregory Cavalier.
