The Sabine Index - Lucy Jane Calhoun

  13 Feb 1959 - Funeral services for Lucy Jane Calhoun, colored,
age 66, who died in a Shreveport hospital, Feb. 2, were conducted
at the New Jerusalem church, Feb. 8 with the Rev. W. M. Garner
officiating. Interment was in church cemetery under the direction
of Many Funeral home.

  Survivors are four sister, Emma C. Evans, Chicago, Lucille
Hamelton, Robeline, Ruby Jones of Alabama, Viola Franklin of
Marthaville, Anne Lee Morris of Leesville; brothers, Walter
Calhoun of Shreveport, William Calhoun of Natchitoches and Frank
Calhoun of Detroit. Lucy Jane has been a resident of Many since
1925.
