Joseph M. Calhoun

  Joseph Mitchell Calhoun, 80, of Hornbeck, died Saturday, July
19, at his residence.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Legg Calhoun of
Hornbeck; one son, Ralph L. Calhoun of DeRidder; one daughter,
Mrs. Howard P. Dean of DeRidder; two brothers, Farley Calhoun of
Leesville, and Frank Calhoun of Silsby, Tex.; six half brothers,
Willie Calhoun, and Jackie Calhoun, both of Huntsville, Ala., Joe
Calhoun of Westlake, Jim Calhoun of Port Arthur, Tex., Milton
Calhoun, and Mildred Calhoun, both of Tulsa, Okla.; six half
sisters, Mrs. Texana White, and Mrs. Emily Johnson, both of
Craven, Mrs. Omie Scott of Leesville, Mrs. Silvia Stephens of
DeRidder, Mrs. Annie Moore, and Mrs. Pauline Phillips, both of
Pasadena, Tex.

  Services were handled by Hixson's Funeral Home of Leesville.
