The Sabine Index - August 30, 1973

  Robert Callens

  Mr. Robert (Bob) Callens, 71, of Belmont died Saturday, Aug. 25
at 7:30 p.m. in Many.

  Mr. Callens is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rita Mae Callens of
Belmont; a son, O. E. Varnado of Many; two brothers, Ralph
Callens of Belmont and Harris Callens of Florien; a sister, Mrs.
Dela Skinner of Many and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. at the
Belmont Baptist Church. Masonic graveside rites were conducted at
the Pisgah Cemetery, with the Rev. J. P. King and the Rev. O. H.
Prothro officicating.
