Billy James Collins

  Funeral services for Billy James Collins, 56, were held at 10
a.m., Jan. 6, at Union Baptist Church in Belmont.

  Rev. Guy Burr, Rev. George Bannister, and Rev. Glen Howard
officiated. Interment was in Belmont Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Collins passed away on Jan. 4, 1995, at Natchitoches Parish
Hospital.

  Mr. Collins was born on Feb. 2, 1938, in Marthaville, to Ruby
Middleton and Foster Collins.

  Survivors include one son, Billy (Jim) James Collins Jr. of
Many; one daughter, Jennifer Burr of Belmont; parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Foster Collins of Natchitoches; three sisters, Betty Jane
McCall, and Bobbie Jean Nunez, both of Grand Chenier, La., and
Judy Ann Nichols of Lafayette; six grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
