Catherine Davidson Clinton

  Services for Mrs. Catherine Davidson Clinton, 67, of Shreveport,
were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, at the Providence Baptist
Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Steve Rainey, former
pastor, and the Rev. Rodney Thomas, pastor of the church,
officiated. Burial was at Providence Cemetery in Springridge, La.
Plans were under direction of Rose-Neath's Southside chapel.

  Mrs. Clinton died at 12:10 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 1984, at
Schumpert Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. She was born
in Springridge, La., and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport.

  Mrs. Clinton was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F.
Clinton. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Oliveras;
and two granddaughters, Kathy, and Katie Oliveras of Springridge;
four sisters, Maude Prater, and Julia Johns of Springridge, Edna
Selman of Gladewater, Texas, and Mary Wilson of Shreveport; three
brothers, Alver Davidson of Shreveport, Roy Davidson of Lufkin,
Texas, Jack Davidson of Pleasant Hill, La.

  Pallbearers were Bill Hudson, Jay Davidson, Roy Tabor, Tom
Rolland, Carl McKay, and D. H. Adkins.
