Mrs. Mable M. Clanton

  Mrs. Mable M. Clanton, 83, died at Sabine Medical Center in
Many, on April 18, 1987.

  Services were held at Friendship Nazarene Church, on April 21,
at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Troy Neff officiating. Burial was at Ft.
Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include eight sons, Alfred M. Clanton of Garland,
Tex., Joseph I. Clanton of Duncanville, Tex., Willie C. Clanton
of Lake Charles, Alton Clanton, Ray Clanton, and Roy Clanton, all
of Many, Edward Clanton of Bermenton, Wash., and Stephen D.
Clanton of Houston; three daughters, Myrtle Lee Pardee of
Shreveport, Bobbie Jean Ford, and Cassandra M. Roach, both of
Many; three brothers, Jewel Walker of Robeline, Fred Walker of
Pleasant Hill, and J. D. Walker; one sister, Clara Walker Gibson
of Louisville, Miss.
