Charles L. Coleman

  Charles L. Coleman Sr., 75, of Pleasant Hill, died on Wednesday,
Jan. 26.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Little
Flock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vernon Stephenson, and the
Rev. Elcie Walker officiating. Burial was in the Little Flock
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Charles L. Coleman Sr. of
Pleasant Hill; four sons, Charles L. Coleman Jr. of Sacramento,
Calif., Maxwell Coleman, and Calvin Coleman, both of Shreveport,
and Jon Suber Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs.
Carol Rogers of Shreveport, Mrs. Winfred Miller of Florien, Mrs.
Bonita Chapman of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Charlene Sharp of
Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Gilliam of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Carrie Lee Peck of New Orleans; 29
grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
