Mrs. Rachel Ward Collier

  Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel W. Collier were held at 2 p.m.,
Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Redland Baptist Church in Florien.

  The Rev. Donay Edmonson Sr. officiated. Burial was in the
Negreet Cemetery, under the direction of Jenkins Funeral Home of
Many.

  Mother Rachel, 80, of Florien, passed away Dec. 17, at the
Sabine Medical Center Hospital in Many.

  Survivors are her four children, Monroe Collier of Florien,
Jimmie Collier, and Robert Collier of Many, Mary Collier Cary of
Shreveport; and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great
grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Lee Collier; and
sons, Lee Collier Jr., Roosevelt Collier, and Larry Collier.
